About Gary Goldman, M.D.
Dr. Goldman graduated from the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. He then attended medical school at the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University in New York where he earned his M.D with Distinction in Research and was elected to the national medical college honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha.
He received his training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Cornell Medical College and Memorial Sloan Kettering as a resident from 1986 – 1990, serving as Chief Resident in his final year. U.S. News and World Report currently ranks these in the top seven hospitals and the number 2 and 11 departments of gynecology in the nation. Dr. Goldman maintains admitting privileges and a faculty appointment at New York Presbyterian Hospital / Weill Cornell Medical College since establishing his practice in 1990. He is board certified in Ob/Gyn by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Goldman previously served on the Cornell Medical College Admissions Committee as well as the Tri-Institutional MD-PhD Admissions Committee of Cornell Medical College / Rockefeller University / Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Goldman taught first year Cornell medical students in their Patients, Medicine and Society course. He also participates in the clinical training of third- and fourth-year Cornell medical students in addition to Obstetrics and Gynecology residents.
Dr. Goldman began his study of Functional Medicine formally through the Institute for Functional Medicine in 2016 and completed his Certification in 2018. He was invited to join their esteemed group of educators in 2020 and is now a member of their teaching faculty.
Dr. Goldman has published multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals and books and has lectured widely on various subjects including Endometriosis, Pelvic Pain, Menopause, Fibroids, HPV, PCOS and Laparoscopic Surgery.
Dr. Goldman has been the recipient of numerous awards, including Castle Connolly Top Doctors, New York Magazine Best Doctors, Patient’s Choice Award, and The Best Doctors in America.

Acupuncture
Marisa Anaya, M.S., L.Ac.
Trained in Functional Medicine by IFM and a doctoral candidate in Acupuncture, Marisa Anaya is the creator of Modern Meridians Acupuncture. She treats all aspects of Women’s Health including menopausal symptoms, infertility, fibroids, pelvic pain, and hormone imbalances. Marisa also treats digestive issues, fatigue, headaches, muscle pain, anxiety, and stress. She is renowned for creating a facial rejuvenation program utilizing acupuncture and microcurrent technology.
Office Manager
Our office manager has been with us for over fourteen years! A seasoned professional, she is here to assist you with all things administrative. Please reach out to her to schedule appointments – both in-person as well as virtual. She can assist you in scheduling operative procedures, providing referrals for radiology exams such as mammograms and helping you to obtain preauthorizations for either. Medical Assistant
Lhamo (pronounced Lah – moe) joined us over a year ago. As Medical Assistant, Lhamo will greet you during your office visit, obtain your vital signs and get you prepped for your office exam. She is there to assist Dr. Goldman with all procedures and will gently and expertly draw any necessary bloodwork.
